REFUNDS

Full refunds will be issued for any canceled class due to insufficient enrollment.  If a student decides to drop a class, a written note must be received in the office or you will be responsible for payments.  No partial month refunds or for students who drop a full year discounted class of $130.00.  Students that start after the first few weeks may make up classes missed in other scheduled classes and can not pay partial months for a late start. Credits are given to students who drop out of 8 week session course.

RETURNED CHECK FEE AND LATE FEE

There is a $20.00 returned check fee for any checks returned by the bank or for deposit difficulties caused by canceled or over-extended credit cards.  A monthly $10.00 late fee will be AUTOMATICALLY added to your bill for outstanding balances that are left unpaid by the 15th of each month.  Nonpayment of tuition will result in removal of student from the class and possible court proceedings.

PLACEMENT AND ADVANCEMENT

The faculty at TDS are committed to the technical and artistic growth of our students.  We strive to bring each student to the peak of their potential and interest in an atmosphere that encourages the appreciation and enjoyment of dance at all levels.  In keeping with this philosophy, the placement policies and procedures are geared to each individual meeting criteria in order to advance from level to level.  These decisions are made by teachers alone and placement is made with the best interest of the student’s dance progression.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PERFORMANCE

Students are required to maintain regular attendance in classes and rehearsals in order to be eligible for the performances.  If a student misses more then 4 weeks of classes after February 1st the student might be declared ineligible to perform in the final concert.  Students who are part of the Musical Theatre Program are required to sign agreement to these policies so that there can be no question to responsibilities. Attendance at dress rehearsals is mandatory for anyone wanting to perform in the end of the year concert. Students and parents will adhere to performance schedule as far as performing in afternoon, evening, and/or BOTH performances understanding that this is imperative considering the effort made by both choreographers and fellow students in preparing for a performance.
