Jess Bamberg
Jess grew up dancing at TDS and has been teaching for over 20 years. She is a graduate of the Dance Educator's Training Course and a member of the Dance Teacher's Club of Boston. After graduating from Wilmington High, Jess earned degrees in Sociology and Elementary Education from Regis College and co-founded and choreographed for the dance club. She was also certified in teaching English and Special Education. After teaching Special Ed in Reading for 10 years, she decided to focus on teaching dance and raising a family. She has a 12 year-old daughter and 9 year-old son who help keep her busy. Jess enjoys teaching students of all ages. Recently, Jess received her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), a world renowned revolutionary program designed to assist students in improving their ballet technique through use of physioballs, therabands, and deep muscle memory.

Jenn Murphy
Jenn, a graduate of NRHS, has over 20 years of teaching experience at TDS. She specializes in our youngest dancers, especially in our Wiggles and KinderDance programs. In addition to her training at TDS, Jenn also graduated from DETC, and continued taking classes at Jeannette Neils in Boston. Recently, Jenn has become a certified acrobatics teacher through Acrobatics Arts. Jenn hopes that TDS becomes a home away from home for her students as it was for her. Jenn has received her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). When Jenn isn't at the studio, she enjoys spending time with her family including her 17 year-old son and 15 year-old daughter.
Teaching Staff

Kerry Parisi
Kerry also called TDS her second home growing up. She is a DETC graduate and member teacher of Dance Teacher's Club of Boston. She has taken classes from a variety of master teachers through DTCB conventions. Kerry earned her MS in Physical Therapy from Springfield College. While at Springfield, she was a member dancer and choreographer of SC Dancers. Kerry is a PT at Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Specialists in North Andover and is well-educated in the science of movement. She has taught at TDS for over 20 years and specializes in Jazz and Musical Theater dance as well as injury prevention with our older students. Recently, Kerry received her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). Kerry has two sons, ages 14 and 10 who keep her on her toes.

Alicia Twohig
Alicia is a TDS alum who was a teacher's assistant before she graduated from NRHS and has been back teaching for over 10 years. She also runs the TDS competition teams. Alicia has competed all over the country with East Elite. During the summers, she has trained with the Albany Berkshire Ballet and other intensives. In addition to attending numerous area dance conventions, Alicia has been a member of several dance teams including the Boston Cannons, Bostons Blazers, and Lowell Spinners. She has taught at various local studios and choreographed and coached the Peabody High School Dance Team. Alicia has also received her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). Alicia loves the family atmosphere at TDS and works hard to continue the traditions and values that she grew up with at the studio. Her daughter, Kennedy, is almost 3 and starting dance at TDS!

Jessy Wong
Jessy is another TDS and NRHS alum who has recently returned as a teacher. She has also competed with East Elite, attended many area dance conventions, and studied dance at Middlesex College and UMass Lowell. Jessy was also a member of the Boston Cannons and Lowel Spinners dance teams. She is an Acrobatic Arts certified teacher and has taken several classes and courses in acro. In addition to acro, Jessy specializes in ballet, pointe, and lyrical and loves seeing her students' excitement when they gain a new skill. When she's not busy with her two young sons (ages 6 and 4), Jessy is our resident queen of crafting!

Ashley Taylor
Ashley grew up dancing at TDS since she was 4 and was also a classroom assistant and DETC graduate. After graduating from Wilmington High, Ashley then earned her dance degree from Keene State where she was a member of the dance company and performed at the Bates College Dance Festival. In addition to attending conventions and master classes, Ashley has been a member of Impact Dance Company since 2012 and has performed in several showcases. Ashley enjoys challenging her choreography skills particularly in ballet, modern, and contemporary. Recently, Ashley completed 200 hour YTT with Jen Ryan at the Yoga Loft to become a yoga instructor. She is looking forward to incorporating this training into her classes. Ashley has recently relocated to Texas, but is still involved with our competition teams and will forever be a member of the TDS family.

Christianna Greenberg
Christianna grew up in Wilmington dancing at Debi's Dance Studio and graduated from Central Catholic High School. She recently graduated from UMass Lowell where she was a member of the dance team and has competed nationally. Christianna was also a member, choreographer, and captain of the Lowell Spinners Dance Team. Christianna specializes in Hip Hop and Tap and also trains in Contemporary dance. She also trains in the BMAX conditioning program. Christianna was recently selected as a member of the Boston Cannons Lacrosse Team Dancer.
Miss Christianna is getting married this March!

Shannon Bell
Shannon also developed her passion for dance at TDS, and, from there, furthered her study of dance through various jazz and contemporary programs in New York and Boston. Her interest in pursuing dance professionally led her to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she double majored in Dance and Arts Administration. During her time at UNCG, Shannon was able to share her choreography on campus, begin teaching dance, complete her Barre Certification through Barre Above, and begin teaching Ballet fitness classes. Since graduating, Shannon has been working at Forme Barre Fitness, The Dancing School, and has presented work at the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival. Shannon looks forward to continuing her study of dance, the body, and arts education. She was also selected as a Cannons dancer for the 2020 season.
